Mini announces the new gasoline versions of the famous small class model. The Mini Cooper with petrol engines will also be available in Romania.

What will be the price range?

After debuting in purely electric form last fall, the fourth-generation Mini Cooper will now also be offered with thermal, gasoline-powered engines.

Customers in Romania will be able to buy the new model with thermal engines in two versions, these being Cooper C and Cooper S. The first version is equipped with a 3-piston gasoline engine, which develops 156 HP and 230 Nm of torque. In this configuration, the Mini Cooper C sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds. The starting price for this version is 27,668 euros, including VAT.

If you opt for the Mini Cooper S, then you will get a 4-piston engine that develops 204 hp and 300 Nm of torque. This more powerful engine propels the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds. The starting price for this version is 31,654 euros, including VAT.

The only notable difference between the thermal and thermal versions is the octagonal grille. Otherwise, the cars enjoy the same features, such as optical blocks with LED technology or a roof that can be finished in a contrasting shade. Customers will also have access to the Essential, Classic, Favored and JCW visual packages. They can also choose between 16 and 18 inch alloy wheels.

The small class model offers a volume of 210 for the trunk, but by folding the rear seat, it can be increased up to 800 liters.

Like the exterior, the cabin of the two versions is identical. As with the electric version, we have a dashboard covered in textile material and a central screen with OLED technology, reminiscent of the clock found on classic Mini models.
