Latest commodity prices: July 2023

Energy prices eased by 1.8% in June, led by coal (-13.1 %) and oil (-1.2%). Non-energy prices fell by 1.9%.

Food prices dropped 3.5%. Beverage gained 1.1% while raw materials changed little. Fertilizer prices dropped 9.3%.

Metal prices eased 0.4%, as declines in zinc (-4%) and aluminum (-3.7%) were offset by gains in iron ore (+7.9%) and tin (+6.6%). Precious metals fell 2.7%.
